Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 July 2026.
1. The service
P2Proof syncs, stores and analyzes your own Bybit P2P order history using a read-only API key you provide. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not hold funds, execute trades, provide investment advice, or act as a financial institution, exchange, or wallet.
2. Eligibility and your responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 and legally able to trade on Bybit under the laws that apply to you.
- You confirm the Bybit account you connect is yours.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and API credentials safe and for granting only read-only permission.
- You are responsible for your own tax and regulatory obligations. Reports from P2Proof are a record of data from your exchange account, not tax or legal advice.
3. Plans and payment
The core service (permanent trade history, profit dashboard, live market data, exports) is free. Pro is a monthly subscription processed by Paystack that adds the features listed on the pricing page (alerts, evidence documents, bank statement matching, automatic cost basis, referral rewards). You can cancel at any time; Pro access continues until the end of the period you paid for and then lapses automatically, with no penalty and no loss of your data or free features. Legacy founding members (one-time early purchasers) keep lifetime Pro access. Refunds: within 14 days of your first Pro payment, if the service cannot function for your account (for example, your Bybit account cannot access the P2P order API), email p2prooff@gmail.com for a full refund of that payment. Referral rewards (free months) have no cash value.
4. Data accuracy
Trade data comes from Bybit's API and is stored as received. Profit figures depend on the cost basis you enter. We work to sync accurately but cannot guarantee Bybit's API is complete or error-free, and P2Proof is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the numbers shown.
5. Acceptable use
No connecting accounts you do not own, no attempting to access other users' data, no abusing the sync infrastructure, no using the service to launder money or evade sanctions. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Service changes and termination
We may improve or modify features over time; founding members keep access to the product's core purpose (permanent history, profit analytics, exports). If the service must ever shut down, founding members get at least 90 days notice and a full export path for their data. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
7. Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent Nigerian law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for founding access. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, exchange decisions, or actions taken by banks or authorities based on your records.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes fall to the courts of Lagos State. Using the service from other countries is welcome, but you remain responsible for compliance with your own local law.
