Your first P2P trade, step by step
Exactly what happens in a single P2P trade from start to finish, so your first one is calm instead of confusing.
Buying your first USDT
You will start by buying, so you have inventory to sell. On the exchange:
- Open the P2P section and choose Buy USDT. You will see a list of sellers with their rates.
- Pick a seller near the top (best price) whose limits fit your budget and who accepts your bank. Check their completion rate and order count, higher is safer.
- Enter how much you want to buy and open the order. The exchange locks the seller’s USDT in escrow immediately, so it cannot vanish.
- Send the exact amount by bank transfer to the details shown, then mark the order paid. Never mark paid before you actually send.
- When the seller confirms they received your money, they release the USDT to you. It is now in your account. That is one completed buy.
Selling it for a profit
Now you sell higher than you bought. Same flow, other side:
- Choose Sell USDT and pick a buyer with a good rate, or post your own ad if you have advertiser status.
- When a buyer opens an order, your USDT goes into escrow. Wait for the money to actually land in your bank account. Check your bank app, not just a screenshot.
- Confirm the sender name matches the buyer. If it does not, do not release, this is the number one scam.
- Once the real money is settled, release the USDT. The difference between your sell price and your buy price, minus any fee, is your profit.
The golden rules for your first trades
Burn these in before you start:
- Money in your own bank account is the only proof of payment. Screenshots can be faked.
- The sender name must match the buyer, every time, no exceptions.
- Start with small amounts until the steps feel natural. Speed comes with reps.
- Keep every conversation inside the exchange chat, where moderators can see it if there is a dispute.
